Emi Paternostro started working with audio at age ten. Mentoring under Front of House mixers for concerts, he learned all the ins and outs of live music and sound reinforcement. He continues to mix concerts periodically, but his passion is post-production audio and mixing for various formats. Versed with the techniques and tools to clean up voices, balance levels and add punch to performances, Emi can take your work and elevate it to a new level.
Emi is currently employed at Sheridan College where he works as a Technologist. He holds a Bachelor (Special Honours) of Fine Arts in Film and Video Production from York University, 2007, and is an Avid Certified Pro Tools Instructor. In 2023 he wrote The Pro Tools Post Audio Cookbook published by Packt. He is also a Video Game and Speedrunning enthusiast.
