Role: Supervising Sound Editor
Working once again with Kathleen Hearn, “Los Chicos de 250” once again explores identity and desire as a teen, but this time does it with Cuba as a setting. Dramatizing their true stories, the students on screen have a gravitas that makes it hard to beleive they are not professional actors. This project also provided a unique opportunity for Emi to supervise a small group of students as they completed the sound for the project, instructing them on best practices and compiling their work to get it ready for mix.
